Become a crew member

Organising a big career event takes a lot of time and effort… and helping hands! Without our numerous crew members, we would never be able to host so many students and companies. Your help is appreciated!

What does a crew member do?

During the job fair, there are four main tasks that a crew member can fulfill. Each group is guided by a board member.

Point of contact for companies

Whenever a company representative has questions or needs help, you are there for them. You help the company build up and break down their stand, provide them with lunch and coffee, brings them extra chairs, and so on.

Manage food and drinks

Providing lunch, snacks, and drinks to almost 2000 people is not a simple task. Crew members in this group help set up and clean up the lunch, organise the queue, refill coffee and water, and help set up and clean up the networking drinks.

Man the registration desk

Every visitor of the job fair is given a badge with their name and study program, as well as a reusable cup and a goodie bag. Especially in the morning, the queue at the registration desk is long, so several crew members are needed to manage the load.

Manage a workshop, speeddate, or presentation

Apart from the job fair, we offer company workshops, presentations, and speeddates. In each case, a crew member is in charge of tracking which participants have registered for the activity in question, managing the capacity of the room, and helping the company representatives that are giving the workshop, presentation, or speeddate.

What do I get out of it?

Apart from experience organising a large event and having a lot of fun, each crew member gets free lunch, dinner, and drinks during the event. Furthermore, as a sign of our appreciation for the help provided, we offer thank-you gifts.
